ETH Zurich - Network Applications
Over a 10-year collaboration with ETH Zurich, we designed, modernized, and operated a platform supporting core network and telephony infrastructure. A key initiative involved migrating from monolithic application servers to a microservices architecture, primarily built with Kotlin and Spring Framework, as well as Go services. This architecture was initially deployed on self-managed Kubernetes and later transitioned to an internal platform-as-a-service solution. To ensure reliability and observability, we integrated monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana.
This long-term collaboration combined system modernization with ongoing innovation, delivering scalable, reliable, and maintainable network services tailored to ETH Zurich’s operational needs.
Luckabox Logistics AG
For LuckaBox AG, a logistics platform provider, we designed, implemented, and operated a scalable orchestration backend. The system was built on a microservices architecture using event sourcing and deployed in a cloud-native environment.
The solution enabled robust workflow orchestration, full auditability, and operational scalability in a dynamic logistics context.
local.ch
As part of a software team at local.ch, we contributed to the development of an API-based aggregation layer used to enrich business search entries. Our work involved implementing metadata providers in Go and Java to supply SEO-relevant data and enhance search visibility. In preparation for a major pre-release, we conducted extensive performance tuning to ensure scalability and responsiveness under increased load.
Additionally we worked on AI-based content enrichment using Spring AI to further improve the quality and relevance of search results.
Soltar AG
For Soltar AG, we rearchitected and migrated a supply chain analytics pipeline from a web hosting service to a modern, cloud-native infrastructure, fully based on infrastructure as code. The solution leveraged AWS as the primary platform, with selected services deployed on Azure for integration with existing systems.
This migration significantly enhanced the client's ability to process, analyze, and act on supply chain data at scale.
